In an episode of A Healthy HOU on Houston City Beat, Bailey Mier-Nava shared the inspiration behind her Bay Area Houston Wellness Passport, a free digital program designed to help business owners market themselves while encouraging self-care. Tired of clients losing paper punch cards, Bailey switched to a phone-based loyalty system and expanded it into a “Passport” that rewards clients with free sessions at her clinic, Interstellar Massage, when they spend $75 or more at participating local businesses from March 1 to December 31, 2025.
Bailey explained, “People are already spending locally—why not get rewarded?” The Passport connects clients with wellness leaders like therapists, doctors, and boutique retailers, promoting a holistic approach to self-care—body, mind, and soul—while boosting small businesses. Users download an app, earn stamps per $75 purchase (up to 10 per business), and redeem rewards automatically, valid for 12 months. Joining is free, includes a $20 clinic coupon, and offers year-long engagement through social media spotlights. Bailey’s goal? To make self-care interactive and support local economies in the Houston Bay Area.
