On this night, I had the pleasure of diving headfirst into this electric atmosphere, catching some of the funniest comics the city has to offer at a comedy showcase hosted by none other than Germichael Richard—aka Black Smooth the Barber.
This Alief native is not only a powerhouse entrepreneur running a logistics company and a mobile barbershop, but he's also a talent magnet, bringing together a crew of comedians who will have you rolling in the aisles.
His latest comedy production, *Life as Eye See It*, was a masterpiece in every sense of the word. The packed house—complete with a standing-room-only crowd—buzzed with excitement as comedic heavyweights like TiDarian Birklett, Silverback, Jay Dynamite, and Jake McFarland lit up the stage, alongside rising stars like “Everyone’s Favorite Uncle” Michael P. “Unka Mic” Edwards.
These talented performers took us on a wild, hilarious ride, sharing side-splitting stories about love, life, and what it really means to “be grown.”
