Episode 6: On Location at Wells Fargo Plaza in Downtown Houston
Join Lisbet Marquez for Episode 6 of Houston City Beat on HCB-TV. Meet Houston Artist Nelson Delgado as he takes us through his latest exhibition of artists. We also have a sit down with Raquel Cepeda, world renowned Houston based Jazz Singer.
We went out to film on location from the sky lobby of Wells Fargo Plaza in Downtown Houston. This building is the second tallest in Houston, standing at 992 feet with 71 stories. This tower is skinned in a distinctive blue-green reflective glass that can be seen from any angle of downtown. It’s a wonderful place to come visit and see our city from a unique perspective.
This was a really fun episode for us to film as we continue to showcase our neighbors and stories throughout the Greater Houston Area. You'll meet three great Houstonians on Episode 6 of Houston City Beat. We visit with Nelson Delgado, a local Houston artist who has an upcoming show specially designed for blind, deaf, and multi-handicapped children and adults. We venture out to Red's Grill in Richmond Texas to meet up with Chris Mullen, an award winning local author, who has published several books in a young adult western series called, “Rowdy”. You don't want to miss my candid conversation with Raquel Cepeda, a magnificent Houston-based jazz singer and songwriter. We talk about her music and her love for love. Tune in and make sure to follow us on social media and give the video a like on YouTube.
Also, don't forget to check out the gallery pictures below with more behind-the-scenes snapshots.
