Episode 5: On Location at CityCentre

Join Lisbet Marquez for Episode 5 of Houston City Beat on HCB-TV. This latest edition was filmed on location a CityCentre, a lifestyle destination of luxury shopping, great dining, and entertainment off I-10 and Beltway 8 in west Houston. 

Once again we are happy to bring another fun episode showcasing our neighbors and stories throughout the Greater Houston Area. Lisbet visited with Dave Sorrels, a very talented Santa Claus portrayal artist also known as “Santa Dave”. We introduce a new segment called “Did HOU Know”, where Mike Acosta spotlights a collection of unique Houston stories. Also, we visit with Barbara Schlattman, who in collaboration with the Houston NW Chamber of Commerce, oversaw a beautification project called Green Medians along the FM 1960/Cypress Creek Parkway corridor. We also have another edition of “Celebrate HOU”, where Lisbet visits with Brandye Foster from Doma, a title company located in Katy, Texas. Mike Acosta returns with “Astrotalk”, where we find out about how in 1965 a famous astronaut took matters into his own hands in order to enjoy a signature ballpark delicacy at Astros games in the Astrodome.
